How to make good decisions about Digital Content
It is easy to get distracted by bright shiny objects.  Teachers and leaders often find themselves weighing the pros and cons of different digital content options and getting overwhelmed by the choices. Data-driven decision making is a foundation of personalized learning. From the grouping of students, to strategic assignment of content, to keeping track of each student’s personalized learning paths, data is essential for making decisions.

Integrating the C3 Framework into the Social Studies Classroom
We are going to look at how we can use the C3 Framework to entice our students to craft complex and incisive questions; think critically about primary and secondary historical sources; form and support their opinions with evidence; and communicate their conclusions in ways that will prepare them to be engaged citizens of the world. Looking at the Inquiry Design Model we will see how we can deconstruct an inquiry focusing on the questions, tasks, and sources that provide robust learning opportunities for our students of today.

 Julie McHenry
I am at a place with personalized learning where I am interested in learning how to integrate technology in a meaningful way for my students and self. I am hoping to become more efficient in small group and individual lessons with student access to resources outside of our school and classroom. More time to collaborate, plan and share lessons and resources with my colleagues is also high on my list this year.
